*edit 06.18.09 - I decided to re-render this one at large print resolution, and I made a few changes in the process. I tweaked the ground texture so it's more uniform and less obvious that it's a repeating seamless tile, and I also switched out the background sky from the stock photo I had before to a much better photo I took myself of a gnarly thunderstorm that rolled through here recently.*

Made with rhino, bryce, max & vray.

Awesome render! The materials turned out great. I think I'd like to see more smoothing (well, less segmentation) on the horn. It kinda appears like your curves were a bit undermeshed or choppy. But regardless, it's still awesome.

Thanks... The kinks and flaws in the horn were intentionally modeled into it. I had it nice & smooth to begin with and I didn't like how it looked. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. :)
